Learning Resource Centre & Shop
The Resource Centre is a colourful and vibrant place to relax, read, work and study.
We offer a wide range of resources including Fiction and Non-Fiction books, Magazines and 30 Computers. The Resource Centre also provides displays on careers, where students can access books and college guides to support them.
The annual Literary Festival is a highlight of the year and offers students the chance to meet an author and participate in various events.
Accelerated Reader:
This is a computer programme that helps teachers and librarians manage and monitor student independent reading practice. It can be accessed between 08:30 and 15:30 through this link. For more information, view our Guide for Students, Parents and Staff.
School Shop:
We have a well stocked school shop where students can purchase items of stationery at low prices. Items can be purchased via SCOPAY. The shop is open every day before school, during break and lunch, and after school.
Revision Guides:
We also have revision guides which are sold at a much lower cost. These can be purchased on SCOPAY and collected from the LRC. Some revision guides are restricted to certain year groups. Year 9 students can ask for items to be added to SCOPAY.
